We offer one of the most flexible MBA curriculums in Asia based on five career tracks. The curriculum is made up of 45 credits. Your academic knowledge will be complemented by professional development workshops that will give you an unparalleled edge. You will gain about a quarter of your credits from studying the required core courses, and the remaining credits through flexible core courses, electives and accelerators.

Program Schedule
Students are expected to complete the program in 18 months. The Part-Time MBA Program (Bi-Weekly Mode) runs on alternate weekends (both Saturday & Sunday) on the HKUST Clear Water Bay main campus from 9:30am to 6:00pm (Sat) or 09:00 am to 5:30pm (Sun).
How you will learn
Varied modes of teaching are employed across different courses, with the aim of helping you maximize your learning from interactive exercises and from your fellow students, faculty members and external guest speakers. Lectures comprise only 30% of the course content; the remainder is dedicated to discussions, simulations, case analyses, seminars, individual and group projects and class presentations. Be prepared for innovative and experiential modes of learning founded on real-life business cases in both an Asia and global business contexts. For all courses, the language of instruction is English.
Orientation Program
Your MBA journey begins with a thoughtfully designed orientation program comprised of accelerator courses, personal assessment workshops, leadership training and experiential learning – a self-discovery and transformational step that represents the unique culture of HKUST. Within just a short time, you will acquire sound business knowledge and become well-acquainted with your fellow classmates to ease your transition into the full program.

Residential Learning
To enhance the overall learning experience, we provide accomodation during the weekend of your studies on our Hong Kong Campus. You will be staying at the Conference Lodge, our newly built on-campus hospitatliy facility which is located just next to the Business School Building. This will not only make your weekend travels easier, but also facilitate relationship building with your classmates, who will no doubt become lifelong friends and valuable business partners.
