Exchange Program

The optional exchange program offers students a wonderful opportunity to gain international exposure and maximize their experience at HKUST. While priority of seat allocation is given to full-time MBA students, part-time students are still eligible to go on exchange due to our extensive partnerships with other schools. You can apply to study for a full term at one of our partner schools located in different countries. Conversely, each year you will exchange students from these top business schools on our campus.

The exchange program promotes cultural and international exposure therefore some of our partner universities do not allow students to return to their home country for the exchange program. Partner universities reserve rights to consult with the government and public health authorities on final decision of exchange program. Should the need arise, there might be an option on remote exchange program. All offering and arrangements of exchange programs are subject to change and availability.

Joining the exchange program was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. The 3-month exchange program was a great retreat from work. I helped organize various school activities and experienced the hype of Ivy League football games, ice hockey, Oktoberfest, Movember, Diwali, etc. Not only was it an experience of a lifetime, it was also a great opportunity to develop my adaptability and flexibility when working in a multi-cultural environment. I loved the journey very much.
